Sodālitās Formation

|

The Order was first organised as a single autonomous Sodālitās of all current members.

In general, a new Sodālitās is formed when it becomes necessary or expedient, either due to growth, or due to the loss of members. In some cases, this will involve spawning a new Sodālitās under the supervision of its parent or grandparent. A new Sodālitās will remain under the control of its supervising Sodālitās until such time as it demonstrates, at a minimum, that

  1. it is reasonably stable in terms of organisation, programme, and function;
  2. a suitably balanced male/female ruling team can be appointed;
  3. either
    1. it will be able to run a programme for new members as well as run programmes and operate a Temple suitable to its membership, or
    2. will be sufficiently proximate to its supervising Sodālitās as to be able to participate in its programmes and Temple operations.

When, in the opinion of the superior hierarchy, this has been achieved, the new Sodālitās may apply to the current leaders of the Order through the hierarchy for Charter Status.
