This book is intended as an introduction to various aspects of Ordo Magni Operis.

It is a work in progress, and as such, suffers from various limitations. Therefore, comments and suggestions are welcome! Please address these to the webmaster, who can be reached via our contact form.

Note in particular that chapter numbers in headers (where present) may change. These exist only as a simple means of ensure that material is presented in the proper order.

For best viewing results, we recommend that you download and instal the following publicly available yet high quality fonts from SIL (formerly "Summer Institute of Linguistics"). These are

  • Gentium, which is similar to but much more elegant than Times Roman and ideal for multilingual environments
  • Ezra SIL, a font for Hebrew based on the standard scholarly edition of the Hebrew Bible, the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia
  • Galatia SIL, a font for Greek
